It’s the moment when a person, or their family, recognizes the need for hospice services. In this delicate juncture, we understand the reality you’re facing.
There’s a yearning to make sure each remaining day is beautiful. A desire to honor the person who needs end of life care that goes beyond the medical need to spiritual support as well. A quest for a compassionate support system that extends beyond medical care.
Allelon Hospice understands these emotions and we are here to help. Our goal is to make these difficult days some of the best of a well-lived life.
Hospice care is for individuals of all ages, offering a path that is not about surrendering, but about cherishing moments. It’s also for those who wish to remain present, engaged, and able to savor their favorite activities and relationships during the time ahead.
Palliative care is medical care for those with a serious illness. It is an approach that focuses on relieving the physical burdens that accompany serious illness.
This type of care can benefit people of any age, at any stage of their illness.
Imagine the sense of relief when someone facing a health crisis, or their family, discovers a support system designed to walk beside those with the physical hurdles of a serious illness. That is palliative care. It’s a journey guided by empathy, where the focus is not solely on the illness but on providing comfort and understanding, fostering a renewed sense of hope and ease.
Patients can receive palliative care to manage pain and symptom-related issues alongside their aggressive treatments.
